How Your Visit Works

Hair takes 15–20 minutes, dressing 20–30 minutes and makeup about 30 minutes — timings vary a little depending on how busy we are.

Browse the kimono, obi and bags and pick what you like.
Getting Dressed
20–30 min
Our staff will dress you in your kimono.
Hair & Makeup
Hair 15–20 min
Basic hair styling and accessories are included. Makeup takes about 30 minutes and is an extra.
Explore & Return
Return by 17:00
Kiyomizu-dera is a 10-minute walk away. Please bring the kimono back to us by 17:00.

Late Return A late fee of ¥1,000 per person applies for every 30 minutes.

Overnight Return No overnight fee, but each person leaves a refundable deposit of RMB 1,500.

Luggage Storage Leave your personal bag with us free of charge (please keep valuables with you). We cannot store large suitcases.
